I would protect this cat with my life, i love them. The visuals of the game fit the theme really nicely! As others mentioned I would love to see this sweet cat. As well as have some sort of almost airy sort of white noise in the background, to make the void feel more empty and lonely in the beginning, to really drive home that sense of atmosphere you built. All n all you did a really nice job with this game!! :)
This game has a really valuable moral. t was very well written and wholesome. If you continue working on this for your final, I'd love to hear some quiet, slow piano music throughout and of course the noises the violet blob and the cat makes. Also, some visuals would be sweeeet. Very good job.
Very adorable game!! Love the fact you can pet the cat but would love to see some images of the cat. The black background and purple text really fit your theme. The text maybe can be bigger since there are lots of empty spaces at the bottom. Great work!
The simple violet color attracts me a lot! The color palette works well with the game. The game is so cute and it is fun to play. I love the cat! I think you can add some sound effects of the cat and add some cute cat illustrations to the stories. I would like to explore more endings of the game.
You can pet the cat in The Void; 5/5. This doesn't feel like it needs much art, but I would like to maybe see the cat's eyes peering out of the black background, or maybe even an image of the violet light that we can click on to choose to approach. I did have a little trouble reading when I started since I usually keep my brightness low, but it's legible at mid-brightness. Cute game overall!
Very fun, love the it was all a dream trope, love the cat. I love that it really feels like a dream sequence, it makes very little sense and we question that very little, we just sorta interact as if we didn't know it was a dream, which is so cool. I would love to see the cat, I would also love to see the outside when we open the door and maybe it makes a sound for the first time in the game after you open the door. I think it would help with your theming! :)
Oh my god this was so cute! I love little void kitty. I agree with Parker, though, I would love to see illustrations of our little friend (maybe not full background ones and just a little transparent pixel doodle to keep with the void theme?), but I love your theming and I enjoyed the game quite a lot.
At the end, I’d love a return to start button! I think you could incorporate this well into the feeling of the game with a “go to sleep” option or something similar. On my first play through, I was able to get to the end, but I didn’t know how many endings you had set up, and wanted to make sure I could experience as many as possible. I also would really like subtle illustrations of our void cat! I feel like incorporating them into the background and having the glow slowly move into the foreground as your character begins to approach them could be a super fun way to visually experience what you’re writing! Great work! :D Also your color choice for the text on the black background was good; not difficult to read.
